VICTORIA V, 80 cm x 80 cm, mixed media on canvas, 2020.
She has exhibited at the Boomer Gallery, London, and at the Swiss Art Expo in Zurich, 2021, and was awarded an honorary award by the ArtHouse Gallery 2021.
The work describes our reality as it is: with all its colors, white and black sides, unexpected decisions and life-changing opportunities: the bright lower part tells about our inner world and emotions, our escape from everyday life; the upper part of the picture represents our daily life with its challenges and solutions, limited by social boundaries. White threads (in the form of a web) on the canvas represent the so-called white noise of constantly incoming information that we receive through social networks, television, the Internet; showing us the «unreal» part of our life, which — on the other hand — limits and affects us much more than we could ever imagine and realize. A single black thread symbolizes a possible way to «glide» through this web without getting bogged down in it.
